THE PROGRAM
The North American Workshop on Cultural Economics is intended to provide a forum for the development and dissemination of economic research in cultural economics, as well as cultural-related applications of mathematical economics, experimental economics and other quantitative and qualitative approaches. Both orthodox and heterodox methodologies are encouraged as are works in progress.
To allow for ample discussion, the workshop will consist of 9 to 12 papers in 3 to 4 different sessions and workshop participants will be mixed up across sessions in different roles (presenters, discussants, chairs). Papers will be circulated in advance and taken as read.
SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
The abstract (300 to 500 words) should provide a concise and informative summary of your research, covering the following elements: introduction, clearly stated research question, methodology and data, and key findings. Submit abstracts as email attachments (PDF, word) to cameron_weber@hotmail.com and aborgesferreiraneto@fgcu.edu.
There is no submission fee.
Deadline for submitting abstracts: April 1, 2024. Authors will be notified regarding acceptance or rejection by April 15, 2024.
